QU50116 Warn or Ford Dana 50/60 Hub to Wheel Hub Square Sealing Ring

QU50116 Quad-Ring for QU56011 Warn® 11690 and 1995-1997 Ford Manual Hubs is a square cross section rubber sealing ring that fits between the wheel hub and chrome outer cap of Warn plastic dial lockout hubs that was original equipment on most 1980s-1990's heavy-duty Chevy, Dodge, Ford, and GMC 3/4 ton and 1 ton 4x4 trucks which have the King Pin type Dana 60 or Dana 61 front axles with internal spline mount lockout hubs. Also fits the QU56011 Warn hubs with black plastic dials sold as aftermarket replacement parts. Replaces both o-rings and square cross section Quad-rings.

Tech Note 1: Dial Decal Legend
Warn hubs with black plastic dials were original equipment for mid 1980's to 1991 Chevy and GMC square body style 1 ton K30, K35, K3500, and V3500 4x4 trucks. Dodge used the same black dial hub on most 1991 to 1993 W-350 and Cummins Diesel powered W-250 4x4 trucks. The dial decal legend is WARN. 1980's-1990's Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks with either the Dana 50 IFS or Dana 60 monobeam equipped with Warn hubs have either red or black plastic dials and the dial decal legend is FORD.

Tech Note 2: Identifying Make
It is often difficult for a layman to identify the make of an old lockout hub because by now, most of the decals have fallen off. If the decal is missing, there will be a Phillips head screw right in the center of the hub dial if it is a Warn plastic dial hub.

Tech Note 3: Ring Type
Warn used QU56017 O-Ring instead of QU50116 Quad-Ring for very early and late production hubs. It has been my experience that the Quad-Ring provides the better seal, but it is more expensive. Choose which one fits your needs the best.
