TK4985 DRW Torque King® Rear Wheel Bearing, Seal, & Spindle Nut Kit

TK4985 DRW Torque King® Rear Wheel Bearing, Seal, & Spindle Nut Kit for 1979-1993 Dodge Dana 60HD and 70 Dual Rear Wheel Axles features premium Timken® bearings and original equipment quality wheel seals because when it comes to rear wheel bearings and seals, only the best will do to safely support the heavy loads your truck hauls. Kit includes Timken® Inner and outer wheel bearings/bearing cups, double-lip inner wheel seals, steel axle shaft flange gaskets, spindle nuts, spindle nut lock wedges, and Threadlocker for the axle shaft flange bolts. This Kit fits 1979 to 1993 Dodge 4x2 and 4x4 300, or 350 series trucks with Dual Rear Wheel Dana 70 Rear Drive Axles. Also, fits Vans and van chassis with either Dana 60HD or Dana 70 dual rear wheel rear axles.

Tech Note 3: When Installing
Under operating conditions, the rear wheel bearings are bathed in oil from the differential, but they do need to be packed with grease to provide initial lubrication.

Tech Note 4: Effective Jan 9, 1979
For Dana 60 and Dana 70 full-floating rear axles, Dodge changed from using a double spindle nut setup (QK4730) to a single nut with lock (QK4015) effective January 9, 1979. TK4985 includes the 1-9-1979 and later Spindle Nut and Lock.
