Tech Note 1: Inspect for Leaks
Inner Axle Shaft Seal Kits Whenever you remove the front axle shafts, inspect the shafts and axle tubes for any signs of differential fluid leakage. It's a lot cheaper and easier to replace the seals than rebuilding your diff after it blows up due to oil starvation! Differential removal is required. These are tricky seals to install, but you can easily do it with one of these kits!
Tech Note 2: Kit Components
TS4811 Kit includes QTA1133 Press Screw Assembly, QT1165 Axle Seal Installer, and QT1186 Thrust Plate. Order 2 QU40055 Inner Axle Seals separately. QT1165 Inner Axle Seal Installer ONLY works with original equipment QU40055 Seal!
