TKA4774 Right Axle Shaft Assembly with Torque King® U-Joint for all 1980 to 1997 Ford F-250 and 1980-1985 Ford F-350 4x4 trucks equipped with the Dana 50 IFS Twin Traction Beam® Front Axle. TKA4774 is an all new axle shaft assembly with genuine Dana inner and outer axle shafts plus a new TK40719 Torque King® Cold Forged U-joint. Assembled in U.S.A. from USA and imported components. (This part supersedes QA4774 and QK4774)

Does not include outer axle shaft seals. Although the axle shaft support bearing is the same (QU40149), two types of Seals were used. 1980-1992 axles (Type 1) used QU40064 press-on metal slinger, plus two seals and a thrust washer (see QU40168). 1993-1997 axles (Type 2) used two press-on seals (see QU40372). Although the individual seals are not interchangeable, you can use the complete Type 1 or Type 2 seal configurations on any year. I personally prefer the Type 1 type as it seems to be both more effective and longer lasting.
