QK4681 2005-current Ford F-450, F-550 Super Duty Knuckle and Hub Seal Kit with Installer includes the original equipment seals, o-rings, and gaskets that MUST be replaced anytime the axle shafts are removed from your Super Duty front axle plus one of our heavy-duty TS1531 Knuckle Seal Installers that make knuckle seal installation quick, accurate, and damage free. QK4678 includes: TS1531 Knuckle Seal Installer, 2 QU20052 Knuckle Seals, 2 QU20045 wheel hub-to-knuckle O-Rings, 6 QU20046SC special hub screws, 2 QU20046HG hub gaskets, and 2 QU20181 lockout hub O-Rings.

Tech Note 1: Must Replace
Seal, Gasket, and O-Ring replacement is required anytime the axle shaft is removed to prevent vacuum leaks and or water infiltration
Tech Note 2: To Install
2005 and newer Ford F450, F550 Super Duty® axle shaft to knuckle seals are of a complicated unitized design that is easily damaged without the correct installer. To function with any longevity, QU20052 Seal must be installed with TS1531 Installer to a specific depth on both the axle shaft and in the knuckle. An improperly installed or damaged seal will allow water to enter and vacuum to escape.

*2017- and newer Super Duty also requires Ford HC34-1660-AA Installation Spacer be placed between QU20052 Seal and QT1531 Installer Head which will seat the Seal approximately 0.030" deeper in the Knuckle as called for in 2017 and newer Ford Service Manuals
