QK4626 Right Axle Bushing Kit also fits on all 2000 Dodge Ram 3500, 2001 Dodge Ram 3500, and 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 trucks. Kit includes 1 QU40316 Bushing and 1 QU40107 Bushing.

Tech Note 1: Bushings
These two Bushings carry a good percentage of the right axle shaft weight. If either or both Bushings get worn, you are probably going to have problems with oil leaking past the right axle shaft seal AND shift problems with the front axle when the splined shift collar can not freely move due to axle shaft misalignment.
Tech Note 2: Lubricate
Lubricate the Bushings with petroleum jelly after installation.
Tech Note 3: Shift Collar
Before you start to disassemble the right side of your axle, shift your transfer case into 4x4 with the engine running and the vehicle properly supported. Wait until the 4x4 dash light illuminates before you shut off the engine. If the vacuum controlled CAD system is working properly, this will keep the Axle Shift Collar in place when you remove the right axle shaft.

Tech Note 5: Removal
The best way to remove the Bushings is with a Blind Hole Bearing Puller attached to a Slide Hammer. You will need to rig an extension to reach the Bushing pressed in the axle tube.
