QK4625 Right Side Axle Bushing & Bearing Kit 1994-1999 Ram 2500, 3500

QK4625 Right Side Axle Bushing and Bearing Set includes QU40292 needle bearing that supports the Differential Output Shaft (what Dodge calls the Intermediate Shaft) and QU40107 plastic bushing pressed in the end of the right axle shaft on 1994-1999 Heavy Duty Dana 60 (8800 lb. or higher GVW) Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 trucks with the Vacuum disconnect system. Was also original equipment on Dodge Ram early production (1994-1997) Dodge Ram 1500 and light duty Dodge Ram 2500 with Dana-Spicer Model 44 front axles. Dimensionally interchangeable with our QK4646 which was found in many 1994-2001 light duty Rams under 8800 lb. GVW (Ram 1500 and 94-97 Ram 2500 with Model 44 Front Axle). USA Made. QK4625 Kit Includes one QU40107 bushing and one QU40292 bearing.

Tech Note 1: Kit Components
QK4625 Kit Includes:
QU40107 Bushing
QU40292 Bearing

Tech Note 2: Removal
The best way to remove the Bearing or Bushing is with a Blind Hole Bearing Puller attached to a Slide Hammer. You will need to rig an extension to reach the bearing pressed in the axle tube.

Tech Note 3: Worn Parts
These two parts carry a good percentage of the right axle shaft weight. If either or both get worn, you are probably going to have problems with oil leaking past the right axle shaft seal AND shift problems with the front axle when the splined shift collar can not freely move due to axle shaft misalignment.

Tech Note 4: Lube
Lubricate the Bushings with petroleum jelly after installation.

Tech Note 5: Before Disassembly
Before you start to disassemble the right side of your axle, shift your transfer case into 4x4 with the engine running and the vehicle properly supported. Wait until the 4x4 dash light illuminates before you shut off the engine. If the vacuum controlled CAD system is working properly, this will keep the Axle Shift Collar in place when you remove the right axle shaft.
