Tech Note 1: Rebuild Kit 
Ball Joint Rebuild kit for TK42057 is TK42059.

Tech Note 2: 1994-1999 Dodge Disassembly
On 1994-1999 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 trucks, the ball joints are pressed into the steering knuckle. Ball Joint replacement on these trucks is pretty easy unless the front end of your Dodge has never been apart before. Getting rusted-in wheel hubs broke free from the knuckle on your 1994-1999 Ram can be a REAL WITCH! However, not near as bad as a 2000 or newer.

Tech Note 3: Inner Axle Seals, Dodge
Given the era of Dodge Ram trucks this Kit fits, it is recommended you replace the inner axle seals which can become hard and brittle with age. For Inner Axle Shaft Seal Kits with oil seals and installation tools see QK4620.

Tech Note 4: Inner Axle Seals Ford
For trucks older than 5 years I recommend you also replace the inner axle seals which can become hard and brittle with age. Our QK4983 Oil Bath type Front Inner Axle Shaft Seal Kit with oil seals and installation tools will wok on all 1992-2004 Ford Dana 60, 1999-2005 Ford Dana 50, and 2005-2018 Ford Dana Super 60 Front Axles.

Tech Note 5: Tools
To make the job of pressing your old Ball Joints Out and the New Dynatrac Ball Joints in, order TS4511 Ball Joint Tool Set. Other handy tools are QT1200 Tie Rod Separator and for 1992-1997 F350 trucks QT1024 Spindle Puller along with either QT9302 or QT9303 Slide Hammers.
