Tech Note 1: Splines
Dana built 60 and 70 series axles with both coarse and fine spline pinion stems. The fine spline, which has 29 involute splines was introduced in the 1960's. The exact date the 29 spline pinion replaced the 10 spline coarse pinion varies by vehicle make and axle application, but as far as I have seen, pretty much all applications had a 29 spline pinion by 1973.

Tech Note 2: Matching U-Joints
QU40935 Pinion Yoke accepts external snap ring universal joints made to Spicer 1350 series specifications with 1-3/8" diameter cups and an overall width of 3-5/8". Use with TK40719 or QU40731 universal joints.

Tech Note 3: When Replacing
When replacing your pinion yoke, you should, as a minimum, replace the pinion seals and pinion nut.

Tech Note 4: Before Installation
To provide initial lubrication for the seal, put a film of clean grease on both the pinion yoke hub and seal lips.
