QU40863 Greaseable Double Cardan 1350 x 2.75 CV Joint Head Assembly totally replaces your blown original equipment Ford Excursion or Super Duty 4x4 front driveshaft CV Joint with a totally greaseable, brand new Double Cardan Constant Velocity Joint assembly. The universal Joints are a cinch to grease through the cup mounted zerk fittings, and the weld yoke has a flush fitting so you can grease your CV Ball any time you want to. Keep this baby greased and it should last for the life of your truck under all but the most abusive conditions.

Tech Note 1: Fits
Replacing your Ball Stud Tube Yoke requires cutting off old yoke and welding on new yoke in phase and concentric to the rest of the shaft. Fits 2-3/4" outside diameter tubing with a wall thickness of 0.083".

The component parts of this assembly are: QU40825 Ball Stud Tube Yoke, QU40805 CV Flange Yoke, QU40800 CV Center H Yoke, and two QU40873 Universal Joints.

Driveshaft fabrication can be done by any competent machinest, but best results are usually obtained from dedicated driveshaft specialists who can both assemble and balance the finished shaft.
