Tech Note 1: When to Replace
Hub to Knuckle Studs should be replaced anytime here is damage to the treads or they are removed from the wheel hub.
Tech Note 2: Threadlocker
Apply Threadlocker to the threads that go in the wheel hub. Thread the new Studs into the hub mounting flange until they are tight.
Tech Note 3: F-250 or F-350
QU40567 fits F450 and F550 4x4s. If you have a F-250 or F-350, you need QU40415.
Tech Note 4: Replace Nuts
The matching QU20081 Nuts should also be replaced when you replace the Studs.
