QU40340 Dodge Dana 60 Front Outer Axle Shaft with Slinger is a genuine Dana replacement Outer Axle Shaft for all 1994 Dodge Ram 2500, 1995 Dodge Ram 2500, 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 and, 1997 Dodge Ram 2500. QU40340 Outer Shaft with Slinger also fits on all 1994 Dodge Ram 3500, 1995 Dodge Ram 3500, 1996 Dodge Ram 3500, and 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 trucks WITHOUT front ABS. QU40340 also fits all 1998 Dodge Ram 2500, 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 as well as the 1998 Dodge Ram 3500, and 1999 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 trucks WITH OR WITHOUT front ABS. Tech Note 1: Spicer 1480WJ Series U-Joints
QU40340 is an outer axle shaft that fits 1994-1999 Dodge Ram 2500, Ram 3500 4x4 trucks with Dana 60 front axles. QU40340 is made for Spicer 1480WJ series axle universal joints. The span between the yoke ears is 3". QU40329 takes an internal c-clip type axle universal joint with 1-3/8" diameter cups. The matching axle u-joints are: QU30332 (greaseable hot-forged cross), TK40715 (Premium non-greaseable cold forged cross), and TK40724 (Premium greaseable cold forged cross).
