QU40323 3/4 ton Dana 44 Front Spindle is a genuine original equipment replacement part for Chevy K20 and GMC K25 4x4 Suburban and truck models and Jeep J20 4x4 trucks with bolt-on type external mount front wheel hubs. Kit includes Spindle, QK4734.5 spindle bearing (installed), QU40070 spindle thrust washer, QU40056 small spindle seal, and QU40071 large spindle seal. Tech Note 1: Fits
This Spindle directly fits 1973 to 1976 3/4 ton GM 4x4s and 1974-1977.5 3/4 ton Jeep 4x4's with Dana 44 front axles that have a wheel hub that using six 3/8" diameter bolts to secure the lockout hub or drive flange to the wheel hub. 1977 and later GM trucks and 1977.5 and later Jeeps have internally splined hubs and use QU40313 Spindle.

Tech Note 2: 1971-1972 GM
To fit your 1971-1972 axle with 2" diameter outer axle shaft slinger, you MUST replace the V-Seals with QU40043 one-piece spindle seal and replace the plastic thrust washer with QU40232 bronze thrust washer.

Tech Note 3: Before Installing
Before installing your new spindle, lube the bearing, seals, and thrust washer with QU90018 PP14 Pyroplex® grease. Also, apply some S9975 or S81343 Anti-Seize Compound to the mating surfaces between the spindle and steering knuckle.
