QU40300 1994-1999 Ram 2500, Ram 3500 Intermediate Front Axle Shaft

QU40300 Dodge Dana 60 Differential Output or Intermediate Shaft for all 1994-1999 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 trucks with 8800 lb. or higher GVW. QU40300 Differential Output or Intermediate Shaft also fits on all 1994-1999 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 trucks. This Genuine OEM Shaft is the innermost shaft on the right (passenger) side. It is installed through the right axle tube and pushed all the way in until the splines on the inboard end are fully engaged with the differential side gear splines. This shaft is horizontally free floating; there are no retainers to hold it in place. Sideways movement is limited by the Differential Cross Shaft and the Bushing (QU40107) pressed in the inner end of your Right Inner Axle Shaft (QU40247). The Shaft is supported on the 30 spline driven end by the Differential, and the 15 spline drive end by a needle bearing (QU40292). Made in Mexico.
