QU40200 Dana 70, Dana 70HD Powr-Lok Limited Slip Clutch Kit

QU40200 Dana 70 Powr-Lok™ Limited Slip Clutch Kit includes complete clutch packs and 4 oz. of limited slip additive. Fits most 1965-1999 Dana 70 and Dana 70HD axles equipped with Dana Powr-Lok™ Limited Slip Differentials. The Dana 70 Powr-Lok™ Differential was used by Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GMC, International, and Jeep.

Tech Note 1: Limited Slip Additive
This Clutch Kit contains only one 8oz. bottle of Limited Slip Lube.

Tech Note 2: 1984-1993 Dodge Trucks
Product Note for Dodge Dana 70 factory Limited Slip rear axles in 1984-1993 Dodge trucks will have Dana Powr-Lok™ Limited Slip Differentials. A ratchet type locking differential, the Detroit No-Spin™ was also available for some years and models. We have no service parts for the No-Spin™, but we do stock parts for the Powr-Lok™ Limited Slip.

Tech Note 3: 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Trucks
During the 1994 to 2002 model years, Dodge Ram 2500 trucks using Dana 70 rear axles were available with an optional Dana Powr-Lok™ clutch-type Limited Slip differential. Clutch type differentials wear out under normal use and they will usually need the clutch sets replaced at 100,000 to 125,000 miles to maintain adequate limited slip function.
