QU40148 Small Spindle to Axle V-Seal for Dana 50IFS, Dana 60/61 Axles

QU40148 Dana 50/60 Small Spindle V-Seal is a genuine Dana Spicer part that fits in the back of your spindle between QU40149 spindle bearing and QU40066 thrust washer on Dana Spicer Model 50 IFS, Model 60, and Model 61 open knuckle front drive axles equipped with serviceable front wheel bearings. QU40148 seals keep road splash that seeped past QU40065 large V-Seal from getting between the outer axle shaft and spindle bearing. Made in Sweden.

Tech Note 1: Before Installing
Before installing the spindle, apply a film of grease to the flexible seal lip that will contact the inner spindle face.

Tech Note 2: Always Use With
QU40148 Dana Outer Axle Shaft Large V-Seal is always used in conjunction with QU40064 Axle Shaft Slinger, QU40066 Spindle Thrust Washer, QU40065 Large Spindle V-Seal, and QU40149 Spindle Bearing.

Tech Note 3: Available Kits
QU40148 is a component part of QK4740 6 Piece Large Spindle Seal Kit and QA40168 Large Spindle Bearing and Seal Kit. It is also included in QK4512 King Pin Kit and many other QUAD 4x4 Front Axle Service Kits.
