Tech Note 1: Single Use
Axle Shaft Flange Gaskets are intended for a single use. To minimize the chance of oil leaks, always replace axle shaft flange gaskets any time the axle shafts are removed.
Tech Note 2: Before Installation
Before Installation, clean the axle shaft and hub mating surfaces. Do not use a sealant with this gasket except to fill in deep gouges in a mating surface.
