Tech Note 1: Tip
GM used a cut gasket instead of RTV sealant between the diff cover and diff housing on the 10 Bolt Front Axle. While you can substitute RTV sealant in place of the gasket, I prefer the using both the cut gasket and a tiny bit of RTV. I apply just a thin bead of sealant to each side of the gasket to fill in any imperfections. The combination seals perfectly and seems to be a lot cleaner and faster to replace at the next axle service.

Tech Note 2: Only Fits
QU30104 only fits front 10 Bolt axles, it will not work on GM 10 bolt rear axles.
