Tech Note 1: Shaft Specs
Dimensions: 34-15/16" Long 1-5/16" x 30 spline.

Tech Note 2: Replace Worn Side Gears
If your axle shaft splines are worn (a common occurrence), chances are the differential side gear splines are also worn. Installing a new axle shaft in worn gears will result in accelerated axle shaft spline wear which is not covered by our parts warranty. Replace worn differential side gears when replacing an axle shaft with visible spline wear!

Tech Note 3: 1975.5-1979
Our TK21261 USA Made high performance rear axle shaft will fit your 1975.5-1979 Ford F250 Dana 60 Rear Axle. This shaft will not fit early 1975 F250 axles that use a 34-9/16” axle shaft (measured from inside of flange to end of spline)
