Tech Note 1: 1987-1988
For the 1987 and 1988 model year vehicles built to March 1988 (on some models to May 1988), Ford Broncos and F150 4x4s with factory manual hubs have a unique, one piece "pancake" hub/rotor with two large diameter, close set wheel bearings. The lockout hub is a flange mount type that fits over the wheel studs.

Tech Note 3: Use New Bearings with New Bearing Cups
A used bearing should not be mated to a new bearing cup. For maximum wheel bearing life, it is imperative that new wheel bearings be used with the factory installed bearing cups in your new wheel hub.
