Tech Note 1: Brake Bleeding
After installing your new brake hose, the caliper will need to be bled to remove trapped air. A power bleeder is recommended, but however you bleed the system, all air MUST be removed from calipers, hoses, lines, and master cylinder before the vehicle is operated. Warning: Do Not Use w/ Petroleum-Based Fluids - Designed Only For Use w/ DOT Approved Silicone- Or Glycol-Based Brake Fluids.
