QU20348 1976-1992 F150, Bronco Splined Front Disc Brake Wheel Hub is a brand new internally splined front wheel hub with studs and factory installed wheel bearing cups that fits all 1976-1986, most 1987-1988 and all 1989-1992 Ford F100, F150 and full size Bronco 4x4s.

Tech Note 1: 1987-1988
For the 1987 and 1988 model year vehicles built to March 1988 (on some models to May 1988), Ford Broncos and F150 4x4s with factory manual hubs have a unique, one piece "pancake" hub/rotor with two large diameter, close set wheel bearings. The lockout hub is a flange mount type that fits over the wheel studs.

Tech Note 3: Never Reuse Wheel Bolts
For safety reasons, never reuse wheel bolts (studs). New wheel bolts are included with this Kit.

Tech Note 4: Use New Bearings with New Bearing Cups
A used bearing should not be mated to a new bearing cup. For maximum wheel bearing life, it is imperative that new wheel bearings be used with the factory installed bearing cups in your new wheel hub.

Tech Note 5: After Assembly
It is relatively unusual for a big 4x4 brake rotor to have less than the maximum allowable runout and rotor thickness variation once it is assembled to a wheel hub. This is due to manufacturing tolerances of the parts and the pressures exerted on the hub and rotor when pressing in the wheel studs. After assembling your brake rotor to the new hub, the rotor should be checked for thickness variation (0.001" {0.025 mm} maximum) and runout (0.005" {0.127 mm} maximum with 0.003" or less preferred). A rotor that is out of tolerance should be machined with an on-the-vehicle brake lathe if possible or on an accurate bench type brake lathe.
