Tech Note 1: Removing Hub
This Ring is the only thing other than corrosion and grime that keeps your factory hub-lock in the wheel hub. If you have removed this ring, and the hub will not come off, try pulling it with a slide hammer and our QT1124 Hub-Lock Puller. Some of those Hub-Locks can get really stuck and since they have a tapered body, trying to get a good enough grip with your hand can be tough.
