Description
QU20026 1987-1988 Ford Bronco, F150 Hublock Retaining Clip for 1987-1988 Ford Bronco and F150 with flange mount Auto or Manual hublocks. These clips hold your flange type hublock against the wheel hub when you remove the wheels so that sealing o-ring between the hublock and wheel hub will maintain in contact with both. Flanged or Top Hat type external mount Hublocks are exclusive to 1987 and 1988 model year trucks with "pancake" wheel hubs that have two closely spaced wheel bearings.

Applications
Tech Note 1: Use
Use three to five QU20026 Clips for each Hublock.
Tech Note 2: Hublock
If you need to remove a hublock, your QU20026 Clips will usually have to be replaced. These clips a vital for keeping the hublock o-ring in place and in full contact with the hublock and wheel hub anytime the wheel is off. I saw a lot of wrecked wheel bearings and rusted up hublocks on these vehicles. The cause was almost always the clips were missing allowing the o-ring to move out of place during tire rotation or brake service. This would allow water and crud to enter and BINGO you have expensive problems.
Tech Note 3: 1987-1988
Ford only used the pancake wheel hub/flanged hublock setup on the Bronco and F150 on many 1987 and 1988 model year 4x4s. This was an upsized version of what the small 4x4 Ranger Pickup and Bronco II used. As you can expect, many front end parts specific to these two years are getting pretty hard to find. Keeping the hublock o-ring in place is essential to keeping prolonging the life of these vehicles.
