Use QT1833 and one of our QT1100 series Driver Handles to quickly and safely install the TK11836 outer rear wheel bearing cup in the Dually rear hubs on 2019-up RAM 3500 DRW trucks with High Output Cummins Diesel Engines PLUS the TK30642 in 2020-up Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 3500HD DRW trucks with the AAM 11.5" or 12" Rear Axle. Tech Note 1: Prevents Damage
Using a Bearing Cup Installer not only saves time, but, more importantly, also allows you to install the bearing cup without damaging either the cup or bearing bore. Bearing Cup Installers are the key to damage free bearing cup installation. With one, you can completely seat those bearing cups without nicks or dings. Using the proper Cup Installer and Handle completely eliminates one of the most common causes of premature bearing failure, namely installation with punches or other makeshift tools.
Tech Note 2: Tool Handles
I recommend an 8" handle (QT1100, QT1116) for most applications and a 14" handle (QT1101, QT1119) for deep set inner pinion, rear hub and transmission bearing cups.
