QT1523 Rear Wheel Seal Installer for 2001-2010 Chevy and GMC 2500/3500

QT1523 Rear Wheel Seal Installer for 2001-2010 Chevy and GMC 2500 and 3500 series trucks with GM/AAM Full Floating Rear Axles is specifically made to install QU30102 GM/AAM original equipment, oil-bath inner rear wheel seals in 2001 to 2010 Chevy and GMC 2500, 3500 single or dual rear wheel trucks with GM/AAM 10.50" or 11.50" 14 Bolt full floating rear drive axles. The Installer is made to clear the floating inner ring on GM/AAM original equipment wheel seals for these vehicles. QT1523 Installer will not damage the seal shell, thereby preventing one of the most common causes of premature oil-bath seal failure. Aluminum Installer is Made in U.S.A. by us here in Roberts, Montana.

Tech Note 3: Beginning of AAM:
General Motors sold it's Final Drive and Forge (Axle and Driveshaft) unit in 1994 to a group of investors who named their new acquisition American Axle Manufacturing (AAM). The new company built then, and largely builds today, the same axles as previously made by GM. AAM currently builds almost all the IFS front axles and rear beam axles for GM SUVs and light trucks.
