Description
QT1508 Front Wheel Seal Installer for IHC Scout and Jeep CJ is specifically made to install QU50225, QU15015, and QU15016 inner wheel seals to the correct depth without damaging the seal. Applications include 1973-1980 Scout models and to mid 1976-1986 Jeep CJs with Disc Brakes. A relief groove in the installer allows adequate clearance for the outer seal lip, thereby preventing one of the most common causes of premature seal failure. Aluminum Installer is Made in U.S.A. by us here in Roberts, Montana.

Tech Note 1: Lubricate
After the seal is installed, lubricate the seal lip with clean wheel bearing grease.
Tech Note 2: Driver Handles
QT1508 has a 5/8" center hole for attaching Installer to QT1100, QT1101, QT1116, or QT1119 Driver Handles.
