Tech Note 3: Lubrication
Before installing your new bearings, pack them with QU90018 Pyroplex® grease or other quality, disc brake rated, NLGI Grade 2 wheel bearing grease. I recommend you use QT5500 Wheel Bearing Packer to pack the bearings, but however you pack the bearings, your grease has to be clean and it MUST fill all the air spaces under the cage and between the bearing rollers.

Tech Note 4: Bearing Cups
Your new wheel bearing cups MUST be fully seated in the hub bores. QT1801 Inner Bearing Cup Installer and QT1802 Outer Bearing cup Installer are the best tools to properly install the cups without damaging the wheel hub or bearing cup surfaces.
