Description
QT1242 Ball Joint Press Installation Receiver for 2005-2009 Chevy and GMC C4500, C5500 Trucks is 1-piece, CNC machined, Upper Ball Joint Installation Receiver Tool made from a USA produced, high strength, solid steel billet, specifically for 2005-2009 Chevy or GMC C4500, C5500 Dana Super 70 4x4 front axles. QT1242 is machined to fit squarely against the uneven Dana Super 70 steering knuckle castings. QT1242 provides space for the Upper Ball Joint body to extend through through the knuckle as it is being pressed in and it is used along with QT1065M Heavy-Duty C-Frame Press and QT1239 Upper Ball Joint Installer to safely and quickly press in your new Upper Ball Joints into the steering knuckles (See Tech Note 1 below for Tool Sets that include QT1242). Securely attaches to 2-1/8" tool hole on QT1065M C-Frame Press. Black Oxide finish. Made by us here in Montana.

Before installing your new ball joints, clean the knuckle hub bore and ball joint seats.
