QT1190 Fixed Depth Right Inner Axle Shaft Seal Installer for 1994-1999 Dodge Dana 60 Front Axles has a built in depth stop to precisely install the right axle shaft seal in your 1994 to 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 with the Dana Spicer Model 60 front drive axle and vacuum controlled Central Axle Disconnect (CAD). It is used on all 1994-1999 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4x4 trucks with gross vehicle weights of 8800 pounds or higher. QT1190 Custom-fit Seal Installer is specifically made to precisely install your right side Central Axle Disconnect (CAD) axle shaft oil seal easily and without damaging the seal. Precision CNC machined right here in Montana, this Installer is used in conjunction with QT1048 Rod and QT1047 Thrust Plate to make successful installation of your tight fitting CAD seal simple, Easy, and straight forward. Tech Note 1: Use Matching Seals
Successfully installing a CAD seal without the correct Seal Installer has about the same chance of success as buying a winning lottery ticket. Makeshift methods don't usually get the job done due to the restricted area you need to work in, and the amount of compression needed to be applied to the seal. Due to the way we have to make the Tool, your Seal Installer and Seal MUST match. QT1190 will only work with original equipment design, NOK manufactured seals such as our QU40105 (Dodge p/n 4506005). Seals manufactured by other seal manufacturers WILL NOT WORK WITH THIS INSTALLER!!!! If you have the green, CR manufactured QU40326 (Dodge 4506005AB) seal use our QT1114 Installer. We do not manufacture installers for this application to fit any other competitive seal designs such as National or NAK.
