QT1147 Ball Joint Press Stub for Steering Knuckle Mounted Ball Joints

QT1147 Ball Joint Press Stub for Steering Knuckle Mounted Ball Joint is machined to fit either end of QT1065 Press. QT1147 is a 1-piece, CNC machined, Lower Ball Joint Removal Receiver Tool made from a USA produced, high strength, solid steel billet, specifically designed to use in conjunction with QT1065M C-Frame Press and the approriate Receiver to press lower and upper ball joints from Dana and GM steering knuckle. QT1147 is a must-have tool if you are working on Ford Super Duty and most vintage Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GMC, IHC, and Jeep 4x4s with open knuckle axles. (See Tech Note 1 below for Tool Sets that include QT1235). Two ways to attach to QT1065M Heavy-Duty C-Frame Press. For Lower Ball Joints, QT1147 goes on the Press Screw. Upper Ball Joint removal is accomplished with QT1147 mounted to the 2-1/8" tool hole. NEW FEATURE! As of April, 2020, QT1147 is now drilled to fit over the grease fitting on Ball Joints that have that feature. No need to take out the fitting to remove the Ball Joint! Black Oxide finish.
