Dan the Gear Man® Tech Notes:
Rusted Spindles
Applications:

Tech Note 1: Rusted Spindles
Removing rusted in 4x4 Front Spindles can be a bear, but I have never had one I could not pull with one of our spindle pullers and our multi-piece QT9308i slide hammer. I have seen a lot of spindles with mashed threads or egg shaped bearing surfaces that were ruined by folks who had a big hammer, but not much common sense.

Applications:
1 1/2" for small Jeeps and IH Scout, 1 5/8" for SUV's, 1/2 ton and most 3/4 trucks, and 2" for heavy 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.
