During the 1972-1979 Model Years, Dodge made a number of minor and major engineering changes to Dana-Spicer 60 series full-floating axles used in 3/4 ton and 1 ton models. Single rear wheel axles will be found on 3/4 ton and light 1 ton trucks. The dual rear wheel Dana 60HD rear axles were used exclusively on 1 ton vans and van based chassis models. Every effort has been made to accurately cover all listed applications, but there may be year or part variations on specific vehicles that vary from those listed below. This is particularly true on incomplete chassis models that may have a chassis build date that is considerably older than the final assembly date of the complete vehicle. If possible, always verify the parts needed before ordering.
