Shipping, Tax, and Return Info

Shipping

Shipping costs are determined by the combined weight and size of products, and we can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. The customer is responsible for any duties or taxes imposed on imports by their country.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are both weight and dimension-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

***Our warehouse staff processes your order for shipping as soon as it is placed (aren't we prompt!), therefore, it cannot be changed or canceled.***

Sales Tax

Montana is a Sales Tax Free State. However, the US Supreme Court Ruling on June 21, 2018 allowing states to force sales tax collections by businesses in other states will require us to collect sales and use tax for many states in the near future.

If you have a Sales & Use Tax in your state, we encourage you to send in your current, valid exemption or General Resale Certificate completed and approved before the sale. Approval takes 2-4 business days to complete.

Returns:

You may return MOST new or used, unopened or uninstalled items within 30 days of delivery for a refund (excluding the shipping or less any promotional prepaid shipping) subject to the conditions below. Any shipping charges are non-refundable. We will provide a prepaid return shipping label if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

  1. No returns without a copy of original invoice.
  2. No returns on partial or incomplete kits, or used tools.
  3. Whole kits being returned must include any instructions and/or video(s) in original condition.
  4. No refunds on electrical, special order, custom made, installed parts, manuals, videos, or used tools unless truly defective.
  5. No returns after 30 days except for defective items.
  6. All returned products are inspected and repackaged before being placed back on the shelf and are subject to a restock fee.
  7. Returns that require cleaning, or repackaging due to customer handling may, on a case-by-case basis, be charged a restock fee of up to 20%. (example: greasy fingerprints on package and/or part that will need to be cleaned off before returning to stock, or any repackaging)
  8. Authorization must be obtained prior to returning any merchandise. A Return Goods Invoice (RGI) number will be given to you upon approval by calling 1(406)384-0270, Monday through Friday, 1p.m.-5p.m. MST. The RGI number must appear clearly on the outside of the package you are returning. All item(s) must be unused and postmarked for return within 7 calendar days after RGI is issued to customer or item(s) will cease to be eligible for credit or refund and will be refused upon receipt. Please write the RGI number clearly on the outside of the package of the item(s) to be returned and return insured to:

  9. Merchandise being returned must come back freight prepaid, insured, in original packaging with proper protection for the parts, and with a copy of the original invoice enclosed.
  10. Any Refused packages will not be accepted.
  11. Any Prepaid Promotional Shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.

RETURNING ALLEGED DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE THAT HAS BEEN USED OR INSTALLED

Subject to the terms of our Limited Warranty, alleged defective merchandise that has been used or installed may be returned for inspection and warranty determination with these conditions:

  1. No returns without a copy of original invoice.
  2. Only parts or tools actually determined to be defective will be warranted. Other components purchased at same time but not defective will not be considered for warranty claims.
  3. Request for warranty determination must be made during warranty term specified under our Limited Warranty for the product(s) in question.
  4. Authorization must be obtained prior to returning any merchandise. A Return Goods Invoice (RGI) number will be given to you upon approval by calling 406-384-0270, Monday through Friday, 1p.m.-5p.m. MST. The RGI number must appear clearly on the outside of the package you are returning. All item(s) must be postmarked for return within 7 calendar days after RGI is issued to customer or item(s) will cease to be eligible for credit or refund and will be refused upon receipt.
