That means any time you bend up a tab to readjust or remove the spindle nuts. Why? Metal fatigue. The outer lock tabs lose some of their strength after they are straightened out. Also, the inside tab that fits in the spindle keyway has a tendency to shear when the outer nut is tightened against it more than one time. Reusing a bend over tab lockwasher may save you a few dollars, but by doing so you might kill yourself and others when you lose a hub and wheel going 75 mph down the Interstate.

Applications:
Dodge Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 series trucks equipped with Dana 60, Dana 70, or Dana 80 full float rear axles: 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0603/0206/5741/files/tk40051__06172_9160__98906.1707926304.1280.1280.jpg?v=1742671902
