QU56011 Warn® 11690 Dana 50 and Dana 60 Internal Spline Mount Hub Locks for stock 30 spline axle shafts are the same Lockout Hub model as was used as original equipment on many Chevy, Dodge, Ford, and GMC, heavy-duty 3/4 ton and 1 ton 4x4s from 1980 to 1997. Warn 11690 also fits 1999-2004 Ford F250 and Single Rear Wheel F350 plus 20000-2005 Ford Excursion 4x4s. A high quality, reliable, and durable hub. Tech Note 1: 1977-78 GM
1977 and at least some 1978 GM 1 ton Dana 60 front wheel hubs were NOT grooved to accept the big snap ring used to retain the QU56011 hub body. To install QU56011 lockouts on those early GM, you either need to have your hubs modified by a machine shop or if you have a Single Rear Wheel truck, order TKA4962/TK4963 New Replacement SRW Wheel Hubs

Tech Note 2: Dial Versions
Ford used both red dial and black dial versions of this hub with a FORD dial decal as original equipment. GM and Dodge original hubs have black dials and WARN dial decals. See XV106 Exploded View for individual part breakdowns

Tech Note 3: Design Change
During the 1990's Warn changed the design of the hub body support for the axle shaft gear to improve durability.

Tech Note 4: Lubricate
Lubricating the moving parts on lockout hubs is critical for long life. When servicing your hub locks, use a THIN film of water proof grease like Pyroplex Plus on the moving metal parts. Do not pack the moving lockout parts with grease as this can cause engagement issues especially during cold weather. I like to liberally coat the fixed hub and axle shaft splines with grease for corrosion protection, but I only use a thin film of grease on the moving metal parts. I also like to brush a little heavy gear oil on the inside plastic dial components.

Tech Note 5: 1999-2004
QU56011 Hubs will not fit 1999-2004 Ford Super Duty F350, F450, or F550 trucks with Dual Rear Wheels due to interference between the Lockout Hub and front wheel adapter
