Tech Note 1: 1988 Designs
1988 R and V series, old square body style 3500 series Chevy and GMC trucks were built with both 1st and 2nd design, 14 Bolt full floating rear axles. This Bearing fits 2nd design axles that using an inner pinion bearing cup that is 3-3/4" in diameter. First design axles have an inner pinion bearing cup diameter of 3-1/2" and use Bearing QU50408.

Tech Note 2: Matching Bearing
Always replace the cup and cone at the same time. The matching Bearing Cone is QU50692.

Tech Note 3: Install with Proper Tools
Use QT1003 Bearing Installer to seat this bearing on your pinion gear.
