QA4629 Outboard Axle Dust Seal Set for Dodge Ram 2500, Ram 3500 are genuine original equipment Dust Seals for Dana 60 front axles in 2000-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4x4 trucks. These Seals are installed on your inner axle shafts right next to the u-joint yoke. When the axle shaft is installed, the face of the seal will seal against the end of the axle tube to keep dirt, dust, and crud from entering the axle housing tubes.

Tech Note 1: Dust Seals ONLY
These are JUST DUST SEALS, if you see oil running past these seals, then your Axle Shaft Seals (see QU40271, QU40298) are bad.

Tech Note 2: Grease
To maximize dust seal life and prevent squeaks, apply a thin, uniform coat of a quality grease to the seal lip.

Tech Note 3: No Special Tools Required
No special tools are required to install these Seals, just push them on the axle shaft with your thumbs.
