QU40887 Large Pilot Ford Excursion and Super Duty Rear Driveshaft Flange Yoke is a genuine original equipment replacement part that fits Ford Excursion and 1999-2016 Ford F-250, F350 Super Duty Rear Driveshafts that use 1410 Series (4-3/16" wide) rear driveshaft universal joints and mate to a transfer case or rear axle companion flange with an approximate 2-61/64" male pilot. This Flange Yoke is typically used on vehicles with Diesel or V10 gas engines.

Tech Note 1: Female Pilot
Many, but not all Ford Excursion and 1999-2016 F-250, F-350 Ford Super Duty® 4x4 trucks with Diesel or V10 gas engines and Single Cardan (non-CV) rear driveshafts use this Flange Yoke at the back of the rear driveshaft. Some models also use it at the front. This is the correct female pilot Flange Yoke for YOUR Ford Excursion or Super Duty® truck IF: A) Your U-Joint Cup Size is 1-3/16" and the overall width of the universal joint is 4-3/16" B) The Male Pilot on your Rear Axle Companion Flange or Transfer Case Rear Output Flange is 2-61/64" in diameter.

Tech Note 3: Matching Parts
