QU40531 GM Dana 60 Left Inner Axle Shaft This long side inner axle shaft is a genuine original equipment replacement inner axle shaft for the left or drivers side on all 1977 to 1991 Chevy or GMC 1 ton 4x4 trucks with either single or dual rear wheels. Made in Mexico.

Tech Note 1: U-Joint Specs
QU40533 takes an internal c-clip type axle universal joint with 1-3/8" diameter cups. The matching axle u-joints are: QU30332 (greaseable hot-forged cross), TK40715 (Premium non-greaseable cold forged cross), and TK40724 (Premium greaseable cold forged cross). For u-joint service tools check out our U-Joint Tools web page.

Tech Note 2: Oil Seals
If you need an axle shaft, chances are you also need the inner axle oil seals located next to the differential. See QU40059 Oil Seal and QK4656 Seal Kit with installation tools.
