QU40085 Small One Ear Boot Clamp is a genuine original equipment Stainless Steel Clamp that typically fits the small end of the slip joint boot for many Dodge front CV driveshaft applications plus most 1980's and 1990's Ford 4x4's using Dana 35IFS, Dana-Spicer Model 44 or Model 50 Twin Traction Beam Independent Front Suspension right axle shaft slip yokes. Made in Canada.

Tech Note 1: Use
Using a Clamp Tool specifically made to tighten eared clamps around the driveshaft boot is the best way to tension a stainless steel Boot Clamp to provide an air and watertight seal. QU40085 is used to seal the small end of popular driveshaft and axle shaft slip yoke boots. Special crimping pliers like our QT4018i is the preferred method of closing the clamp, but hoof nippers or some types of wire cutters can be used in an emergency.
