Tech Note 1: Wear
I recommend you replace the Oil Feed Screen when rebuilding your transfer case, even if the old screen looks OK. Screen replacement is doubly important if the screen is damaged in any way or if metal particles are embedded in the plastic.
Tech Note 2: Replacement
Replace the rubber Oil Tube Connectors when replacing the Screen.
