Tech Note 1: Always Replace Gasket
Axle Shaft Flange Gaskets are intended for a single use. To minimize the chance of oil leaks always replace axle shaft flange gaskets any time the axle shafts are removed.
Tech Note 2: Before Installing
Before installation, clean the axle shaft and hub mating surfaces. Do not use a sealant with this gasket except to fill in deep gouges in a mating surface.
Tech Note 3: 1992-newer
QU30010 Steel Axle Shaft Flange Gasket only fits axles through the 1991 model year. If you have a 1992 or newer 14 Bolt 10.5" full float rear axle, order QU30108 Composition Axle Shaft Flange Gasket
