TK11295 Dynatrac Free-Spin Kit with Mile Marker Hubs for 00-08 Ram 2500/3500

TK11295 Dynatrac Free-Spin™ Kit with Mile Marker® Stainless Steel Lock Out Hubs for 2000-2008 Dodge Ram 2500, Ram 3500 fit either 2000-2002 Dana 60 or 2003-2008 AAM 9-1/4" Front Drive Axles in Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4x4 trucks with single rear wheels. TK11295 includes the conversion parts and Mile Marker® fuel-saving lockout hubs to upgrade your heavy-duty Ram 4x4's front axle. TK11295 includes a complete, USA made Dynatrac Front Free-Spin™ Hub Kit with heat-treated chromoly spindles, spindle bearings, spindle seals, Timken® wheel bearings, Timken® or Dana wheel seals, 35-spline 1.50-inch chromoly outer shafts, 8 bolt wheel hubs, your choice of Hub Locks, double spindle nut kit, and instructions. TK11295 direct fits single rear wheel trucks. Will also fit dually models with optional wheel adapters, see Tech Note 2 if you have a Dodge Ram 3500 with Dual Rear Wheels (DRW).

If you have a Dodge Ram 3500 dually, your factory dual wheel hub adapters will have to be changed as they have insufficient clearance for the new lockout hubs included in our Kits. Order optional QU42072 Dual Wheel Adapter Set or see Y100000 for a Direct Fit Yukon Kit.

Tech Note 5: To Install
To install TK11295, you need to remove the original hubs and axle shafts. Depending upon age, mileage, and use, your truck may also need inner axle shaft oil seals, ball joints, brake parts, or pinion seal. Inspect the axle before disassembly for worn or damaged parts and order those extra parts/tools you desire for a first class job.

Tech Note 7: U-Joint Options
TK11295 fits 2000-2002 Dana 60 AND 2003-2008 AAM 9.25" 4x4 front axles. The two axles take different axle u-joints. The new outer axle shafts that come with these kits fit universal joints made to Spicer 1480WJ dimensions. For 2003-2008 trucks, Dynatrac supplies shims to allow the use of AAM size joints in the new outer axle shaft. Personally, I dislike that option, so we have developed some exclusive alternatives.
Your U-Joint Options are:
2000-2002:
A) Reuse your original u-joints which will fit the new axle shafts without modification.
B) use optional, QU30332, TK40715, or TK40724 1480WJ axle universal joints.

2003-2008:
C) Use the supplied shims, and either reuse your original axle u-joints or order optional 1485 series QU40765, TK40444, or TK40446 axle u-joints.
D) Order Torque King® TKA4946 Spicer 1480WJ to AAM 1485WJ Conversion U-Joints
E) Order optional TK11310 Right and TK11311 Left USA Made Performance 4140 Thru-Hardened Inner Axle Shafts AND your choice of QU30332, TK40715, TK40724, TK42117 1480WJ u-joints.
