Tech Note 1: Specifications
All three u-joints included with QU11232 CV driveshaft have 1-3/16" cups and are made to Spicer 1350 dimensional specifications.
Tech Note 2: 1350 Series
QU11232 is a straight 1350 series CV driveshaft (U-Joint Cup OD is 1-3/16") and it is an exact replacement for 2007-2009 1350 series shafts in Ram 4x4 trucks with G56 6 speed manual transmissions. It is also the upgrade replacement shaft for 2005.5-2008 trucks that originally had a lighter duty CV driveshaft using a Saginaw S44 front u-joint with 1-1/8" diameter u-joint caps.
Tech Note 3: 2005 Models
Early production 2005 model year Ram trucks with the six speed manual transmission were equipped with the New Venture NV5600 which has a cast iron main case. Later production 2005 model Rams have the G56 which has an all aluminum case. QU11232 fits the later production trucks with the G56. If you have a 2005.5 or older Dodge Ram with the NV5600 6 speed, see QU10978.
Tech Note 4: Length of Tube
Length of Tube from Center of Weld to Center of weld is approximately 16-3/4" (+/- 1/8").
Tech Note 5: Grease
The CV Center Ball can be greased with QTA9405 or similar needle nose grease gun adapter.
