Tech Note 1: Removal
To remove your Dodge 9-1/4" semi-floating rear axle shafts, you must first remove the differential cover, differential cross shaft lock bolt, and differential cross shaft. The axle shafts must then be pushed inward until QU10953 C-Clip will clear the differential side gear.

Tech Note 2: Replace Worn C-Clips
C-Clips are subject to wear which may cause the parts to fail and the axle shaft and wheel to separate from the axle when driving. Replace any C-Clip that has any significant wear. Doing so is cheap life insurance.
