QU10891 0.091" Snap Ring for NPG Transfer Cases

QU10891 0.091” Thick Selective Input Shaft Snap Ring for New Process NP205 Direct Mount Gear Drive Transfer Cases with Large Diameter Input Shafts Selective input shaft Snap Rings are used to secure large bore input ball bearings to Chevy/GMC 32 spline, Dodge 29 spline, and Ford 31 spline NP205 Transfer Case input shafts. To minimize input shaft end-play, the thickest Snap Ring that will naturally fit in the input shaft snap ring groove and against the installed input bearing is desired. New Process offered four Snap Ring widths (0.088" QU10599, 0.091" QU10891, 0.094" QU10893, 0.097" QU10892) for the big input versions of the NP205. Also used on GM 246 Transfer Cases. USA Made.

Most original equipment Replacement Parts for the NP205 Transfer Cases have been out of production since 1993. Our inventory of selective fit Lock Rings diminishes almost daily. If you see your desired Snap Ring is Sold Out, order the next smallest available size.

Tech Note 3: Input Ball Bearing
In most cases, the input ball bearing can be pushed into place on an NP205 input shaft. Before assembling the input shaft into the transfer case, temporarily install the bearing on the shaft and measure the exposed groove thickness
