QT1064 King Pin Socket for 1975-1993 Dana 60 Open Knuckle, King Pin Type Front Axles removes and installs the upper king pin cones on Model 60 front axles found on many ¾ and 1 ton trucks from 1975 to 1993. Both the 3/4" drive socket and hex bit are professional quality tools designed for impact use. The upper king pins are torqued to 600 ft-lbs. Replaces obsolete Dana Tool #D192. USA Made.

Tech Note 1: Worn Upper King Pins
The upper king pins themselves usually do not need replacement. If yours are worn or rough, order the QK4550 kit which includes both upper king pins, QT1064 ¾" drive impact socket/hex bit, and S9979 high strength Threadlocker. The king pin torque specified in the Dana Model 60 Axle Manual is 600 ft-lbs.
