The solid cross gives it a little extra strength, but these original equipment u-joints are expensive. I do not like to run greaseable u-joints in these axles, but you can use our \u003ca href=\"\/products\/40731-qu40731-greaseable-1350-series-driveshaft-u-joint\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eQU40731\u003c\/a\u003e u-joints if you remove the seals and are willing to accept some loss of strength.
