1988-2002 Dodge and 1984-1996 Jeep Dana axles with vacuum controlled Central Axle Disconnect use inner axle seal tools that PULL the seal into place. The Inner Axle Seals used in CAD front axles are some of the most difficult vehicle seals to install due to the limited space available and the high torque required to start the seal into the bore. Combine one of our Pull Rods, which are made from 125,000 psi., hardened rod and application-specific seal installers/thrust plates to make easy work of an otherwise daunting job. Two sizes are available QT1107 1/2" Rod is for 1987-1996 Jeeps with small diameter seals. QT1048 is used for 1988-2002 Dodge and 1984-1987.5 Jeep with large diameter seals.
